i had a similar fan that i used literally every day for two years, and it finally fizzled out on me. i got this one to replace it and im just as pleased with it, if not more so! the cord on this one is much longer, which means i was able to clip it to my bookcase to be up and out of the way, since space is an issue in my room. the high speed isnt as strong as the one i had previously, and i wish there was more of a difference between low and high (both high stronger and low weaker), but for the value you cant beat it. was also delivered quickly from my local store, had it in less than an hour when my old one shorted out. between the two ive not had to use my AC all summer.

The fan Ì ordered was replacing an identical one that I had for some time. It lasted through multiple drops to the floor and kept on working. Also for a small fan it is very powerful. Every one who saw it would say they had to get one for themselves because they were amazed by the power of it.
