I have a watch that keeps track of my sleep and the my movement during sleep. After putting these curtains up my movement went from 15% to 8% . My neighbor's leaves early and the headlights shine in my window. Any light keeps me awake or wakes me up. I was very impressed the first night I didn't wake up once and slept 8 hours. I purchased these curtains to help reduce electric bill. I had only share curtains winner and summer up. These are also a blackout curtain which that's not the reason I got them, but it is nice having the room darkening and I got them. I just spritz them with water out of a spray bottle put them on the dryer for about 15-20 minutes and the wrinkles were out. They do not have the rubber backing on them which is fine with me. I think that's why they open up and stay close to the walls and you got more window. I would definitely recommend them. I got the beige color very happy with it.
