It's a mouse.

We've used this exact model mouse since 2009 when I sold my soul to the devil and got the first Walmart E-computer. Now we have 2 HP all in ones and still like the Logitech mouse. They don't really wear out but my wife likes to snack while on her side of the room and the roller wheel gets sticky after a while. I'd recommend this mouse to anyone for any application. If you still have a cord tying you to the computer it's a great design for going cordless. Saw a review once about it not being rechargeable.........no need. The batteries last so long you'll forget it has batteries. Check them first if it acts erratic. And the slide pads can get loose after a very long time and cover the laser eye. Other than that we never had a problem.

Logitech Mice FTW!

I have used Logitech mice for many many years now. They always work great and are very good quality. I needed a new mouse for my new laptop and that is why I bought the M510. The USB wireless plug in is very small and hardly sticks out the side of my laptop. The mouse is a nice size and not a tiny kid size. Fits my hand great and has a nice grippy rubber texture to it. Worked right away and no need to install any drivers. (at least with Windows 8 that is). The battery feature is very unique too. Supposed to last up to 2 years before needing a replacement. So no need to carry around extra chargers or batteries...which is great for my laptop configuration. I would highly recommend this mouse to anyone who wants a quality high precision mouse for their laptop.

Excellent

Had to replace an earlier logitech after 4 years because it was acting erratically. This unit is a step up from the one we had, but it is well worth the couple of bucks more I spent on it. Comfortable to use, and the shortcuts for scrolling and recalling previous page is very handy.
