This is a very simple piece of décor , it can be painted , stained or just leave it alone . The price can't be beat ,was fast and easy assembly and sturdy when finished , a real 5 star . My daughter also purchased one as well and we have used them in the ,living room ,bedroom and bathroom they are fitting for anywhere you need shelves .
