Nice cool breeze for a hot summer in Florida

Love this fan. I have bought several for myself and my family members. The fan produces so much air that most of the time I have it on low. I bought these to help keep my utility bills down over the hot summer in Florida and it has helped quite a bit. I like my house cool and I keep my thermostat at 78 degrees and turn on the fan when I go into a room. I put it on oscillate because it can get chilly otherwise and this is coming from a person who gets hot quite easily. I recommend this fan for anyone who likes a nice breeze, wants to lower their utility bill and stay cool.

I purchased this fan a couple of years ago. I recently moved into rental townhome. The guest bedroom does not have a ceiling fan. I am not interested in installing one for the owner and I decided to purchase this oscillating fan again. It really cools the space and makes sleeping very comfortable. I love that it has the remote control so I do not have to get up out of the bed to make any adjustments to the speed. It also has a timer feature in the event you want it to shut off after a certain amount of time.

Good BIG Fan

This fan has mostly good features. It has 4 speeds, the lower two are quiet. The motor and fan movement are very smooth. The auto shutdown can be set from 1 to 7 hours. The not so good side are : The base pole does not lock in the fan bottom. To change the height of the fan needs at least 3 hands. If the fan is to be moved, when you pick it up the base falls off (Two of us tried to seat it, no luck). The fan is 20" -- the control panel is mounted like it is a 18" fan -- The lower edge blocks the control lights and the control signal. the control unit must be help done below fan edge or it won't work..
