Good for the money. Assemble carefully.

Good heavy base. Should never tip. Be careful of aluminum threads on pole. From past experience they can strip and cross thread easily. They should twist together easily. If not ..don't force it. Also make sure threaded nipples in pole are completely screwed in..otherwise will wobble. So far..upper portion seems to keep it's position. Not sure why..but the plastic gnarled nut used to keep the shade on was behind the light socket. Had to unscrew and remove it before putting on shade. May be why some people has wobbly shades. Only negative thing I noticed. Otherwise not bad for the price. Steel pole would be better quality.
