Use LED bulb - It doesn't get hot

My cat sometimes naps on top of my work station. I don't want to turn on the ceiling light and disturb her. I purchased this lamp and positioned it to shine below on my desk and keyboard. Not only is it purposeful. It's very cute. I choose the bronze. A 40 watt LED bulb works great. Lamp doesn't heat up.
