Great value; nice lamp for the money. Heavy stable base. The only improvements I would suggest would be the connection of the lamp to the base is a little flimsy and there are no anti-scratch pads on the bottom of the base so you have to add some felt pads there. Also, it does not come with a lightbulb. Otherwise, I would highly recommend.

I wanted this for a table lamp (odd I know) because I am a hand sewer and sit with the hubs for hours while he stares at TV. I can't do it, and so I hand quilt in order to sit with him for a few hours when he comes home from work. I wanted something with good light, that I could turn away if I just want some light, but could place closer to my viewing area (lap) in order to sew the small things I make. I am using an LED 40W that makes 100W with zero heat and I absolutely LOVE this lamp. I originally tried to purchase from a well known online supplier but after 5 weeks of waiting and having the thing in limbo I gave up and found it here, received in 3 days and could not be happier. I now have an annual subscription and love same day delivery when I need it. At 70 it is an amazing help to have that.
