This rack is solid steel and was somewhat easy to put together. Even though I would have loved a video other than paper instructions. I have enough room for my shoes and space for my room. Its metal supports seem a little flimsy, but can handle lots of books 📚 if you don't roll it around… Love the wheels, though this is a thin unit, makes it easy to set-up and I do use them to move things from one room to another. so I just do not put as much on them while on the move.
