We have a very small shower. Getting in with my original shower seat was difficult for me, especially without security rails.This shower chair fits perfectly. I can also use it in my bathtub so I won't worry about falling! It's extremely sturdy and for a large person you have peace of mind that it won't bend or break. I like how sturdy it is. Since I am disabled, showers are exhausting for me. With this, I feel safer and I am actually able to enjoy my showers.
