I have tried a number of mattress pads that claimed to be cooling only to find they slept hot. This is the exception. This mattress pad is a perfect fit for my deep queen mattress. It even fits over my thick topper. The surface material is cotton and the filling is light, thick and fluffy. This washes and dries perfectly. It fits in my top loading washer well. Best of all it is truly a cool mattress topper that does not get hot or warm during the night. This mattress pad is really comfortable.
