Rubber mallet and Level Required for Assembly

The issue with this shelving unit is that you absolutely cannot put it together without a rubber mallet and a level. The legs do not fit into the holes without a rubber mallet to pound them in. Once you get them in, you have to ensure that all four legs are level before you put the next shelf on. If you don't, your shelves will be uneven, and it will not be sturdy. Once you have the right tools, and put it together, it's great. But it's sold as no tools required for assembly, that is not possible.

These interlocking shelves are perfect for displaying action figures on a budget. They can be a pain to assemble and require some brute force, but after they're together they're sturdy. I have six of them and at least two have molding errors where some of the braces are brittle. But they are spacious and beat putting together bulky wooden shelves or expensive metal ones

Hard to assemble by hand

Good sturdy shelf overall. Buy a mallet and be prepared to get your agravations out! You can't just put the poles in by hand. It doesn't work that way. You will need to bang the poles in for each shelf. And then the bottom shelf poles came detached. It was fine after I gave it an additude adjustment.
