29" Hyper Carbon Fiber Mountain Bike, Black/Green, Adults Age 13+

This bike was packaged extremely well. Once you get through the confusing assembly instructions, this is a top notch bicycle. The quick release wheels for easy transport are super cool and the push button gear change is very impressive. It is hard to believe how light weight this bicycle is, but I can easily lift it and move it, and minus the wheels, even more so. The all-terrain tires are very substantial and look to be of good quality. The bike's brakes worked great, no issue there. The bike seat looks cool, but I will probably have to upgrade to something more comfortable.

Let's start with putting the bike together, it comes mostly assembled. I have not put too many bikes together, so I am rather inexperienced. The pedals, seat and reflectors were really simple. I am including a picture to show the color coding of the pedals. The handle bars already have the cables attached, so you have to pay attention when you put them in place so the cables aren't in the wrong place. The front brake cable ended up wrapped around the wrong way and I had to take the handle bars back off to fix it, adding about 10 minutes to the assembly time. The weight limit is on the high side, 275, my husband weighs 250 and there are no creaks or noises. It is very light for such a large bike, I easily moved it around to assemble it and picked it up to store it. The shocks are great and the seat is comfortable. The brakes are very responsive. The gears shift easily. There is no kickstand. The frame is a matte black with green lettering and it looks really nice. The packaging says it is for men 6' or taller. my husband is 5'9" and he rides it just fine, but has to lean it over a little when stopping.
