I have some medical conditions that don't lend well to using weighted blankets, so I had to chose a kid sized, but I'm 5ft, so it worked for me! It feels cool when you put it on, then it distributes the heat. After a while it doesn't FEEL cool, but it releases the heat so you are not hot. However, if you take it off for a few minutes and then put it back on, it's cool again. It's pretty cool! LOL. I love it!

I just love my weighted blanket! It's very comfy and the weight is perfect. I suggest definitely going by 140 pounds or less get a 15 pound blanket. I got the 20 pound and it's a tad heavy, still so perfect even without a duvet cover.
