Good for the price

I bought this because it doesn't take up much space and matches the color of my furniture. The only thing is when assembling the backboards, be sure to start at the top because it will hang over (you wouldn't see it hanging below the bottom like you would the top). It's hard to get just right when hammering. But otherwise, it's great to have a place for the movies to choose from on a movie night.

Nice look but BEWARE

The quality of the components is great and the look is great but there are issues. The instructions are clear on all steps except they do not clearly point out that you have to insert the wooden pegs so I missed that step and had to take everything apart to correct. Worse, the bottom sticks out further than the whole unit so when you turn it over to bang in the nails for the backing, the unit crumbles bc there is nothing supporting the middle. Finally, the shelves are just resting on round pegs so they will roll off the pegs and fall out if not careful.

Storage tower purchase not what I expected

Received the item timely however, the tower is narrow, shorter than expected and tilts over on carpet. The room I purchased this tower for has carpet and I have to lean it against my wall which is not preferred. Also, I placed my DVDs on the shelves. As you can see the space is not like advertised. Nevertheless, it did pass the laminate and tile floor test just fine. This item may work for anyone looking for something that does not require too much area or storage space. Overall, I would not recommend due to size, balance issue and quality.
