This grandfather of award worthy SciFi movies is in BluRay SHD pixel density, which is better then DVD HD density. I wish it came in 4K UHD density. The extras are interesting too, including the black and white movie, Invisible Boy, and commentary on the main movie expresses how Forbidden Planet sets the bar for quality production value, including use of Disney studio effects in certain scenes. This ain't your Saturday afternoon kid's matinee movie. It's worth including in your personal catalog.
