I used it for 1 kitten I had his bed in it with food and water and I used a plastic square large dog bowl as a litter box for him - I needed to keep the kitten safe from wires etc - and to keep him in when I was not watching him - it kept him secure - it has a zip top and one of the panels on the side also has a zipper to open and close - excellent for the price

We actually got for our 2new kittens…1st so could take outdoors with us %26 our dogs and also for indoors to keep them away from dogs until knew how they would get along! Well that was never problem…it was love at first site lol!! They like playing in it, so stays set up most of time-fact no assembly makes it so easy to take with us too!! Taken them in picnics, just hanging in back yard with dogs…it's perfect. We don't want them to be outdoor cats, but they do shoot the fresh air, so this is perfect. We also ordered one that had zippers, so they cannot get out-this far, they still too small to escape this one-but when they can get out-well have this for indoor play %26 the enclosed one for outdoors! Both we purchased at Walmart %26 externally happy with price, quality %26 the enjoyment the cats get out of it!!
