For the price this is a great product!!!

For the price this is a great product. I expect most slam balls to cost between 2 to 3 times the weight to be a good value. The smaller the weight the harder it can be to be in this price range but this was very near the bottom of that range at the time of my purchase. The ball is a smooth exterior which I must prefer over the tire tread style that other brands offer, as with high reps it won't start irritating your finger tips. I did primarily buy this product for my wife, but i have used it also and if I throw it to the grd from over head (I'm 6 4') it will bounce a little less than 6 inches when on concert and a little less if on a stall mat. It was a little more inflated than i prefer when it arrived, but a simple basket ball pump can change the air amount. Placing it on a scale, it was within a few ounces of 10lbs. As for the durability, time will tell. I have only had the ball for a few weeks now and my wife has used it several times. However I hope it will take several years to really know the durability. I expect a slam ball in my garage gym, only being used maybe once or twice a week, to last for years and years, basically until the outer shell dry roots (5+ yrs depending on temp and humility). In a commercial gym I would expect this ball to wear out a little faster than some of the other name brand offerings.
