I am 76 years old, and for the last 2 or 3 years I have had trouble getting to sleep. Then I started listening to you tube on my smart phone, to rain sounds. What a difference, I can fall asleep and stay asleep the whole night. The downside is that this really uses up a lot of my allotted minutes on my phone. Now, with this sound machine, I get the same effect, sound, restful sleep all night. I can even sleep during the day, and still sleep at night with no problems. No more taking over the counter sleep aids. Sometimes during the day I feel tired, so I get comfortable in my favorite chair, and turn the machine on. I don't actually sleep, but I always feel well rested and relaxed. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a better quality sleep at night. I would also recommend this for people who are feeling tense or nervous or anxious. The up side is this. Over the counter sleep aids can become habit forming, and harmful over time. This is not. Over time sleep aids can cost a lot.
