McGiver could build a spaceship with this

I bought the dime to replace one I had for years but recently lost. Probably my punk kid mousing around in my stuff…. The dime is small enough to carry in your pocket and has a very useful tool set. I use the box opener often and the knife is sharp as heck from the factory. Spring loaded pliers and scissors are required for a multitool in my opinion. If you can't tell, I'm a fan of this device!

The Dime is a handy full time carry.

I was looking for a small multi-tool I could carry all of the time. The Dime has met that need. I constantly use the box opener. The blade, although small, easily cuts a Starbucks grilled cheese sandwich in half when sharing with my wife. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality too.

A great micro-tool for your keychain

I originally wanted a Leatherman micro-tool but found their website unresponsive. So I thought I'd see what Walmart had to offer. My search yielded this little guy so I checked it out as much as I could on the browser. In my opinion, Gerber has a decent reputation, so I thought it would be worth a try. I bought three (one for me, one for my wife, and one for my adult son) for Christmas stocking stuffers and it turned out to be one of the best gifts of the season. It's well made and definitely not a, "toy", tool. It's a micro-tool, so you're not going to tighten a 1/2'' nut with it. But for those little jobs it's perfect. All three of us have it attached to our key chains. The only flaw would be that it only comes in one color set. I now plan to buy more for other (distant) family members for birthdays later in the year.
