Excellent Bike For The Price

Very impressed with this bike! I looked at a lot of different bikes and settled on this Costway one, and now that it's assembled I know it was a great choice. Pros: 1) Easy enough to assemble. I'm not handy at all but it comes partially assembled, it took me probably 45 minutes from opening the box to my son riding it down the sidewalk. No missing pieces and clear instructions. I did need a socket wrench. 2) Very sturdy. We've only had the bike for one day so I can't speak on durability but this thing's a bit of a tank. It's heavy and the frame is well built. 3) Good price. I paid $130 for this bike “on sale” and I'd say that's exactly what the price should be. It's a very good bike but ultimately my kid will grow out of it so the price is right for me. 4) The fun factor is there. My son is 5, his favorite color is red, and it was surprisingly hard to find a red bike! The LED lights on this bike are super fun. It takes 3 AA batteries that come included and you just pop them in, super easy. Because of the batteries though, I'm guessing this isn't a bike that can or should be stored uncovered or get too wet. Cons: 1) There was very slight cosmetic damage to the side of the bike, looks like the Costway sticker touched something hot and melted. Doesn't bother me, as my kid is likely to be rough with this bike, but if I was giving it as a gift to somebody else, it might have been an issue. 2) The bike is heavy. Which is good for durability but it's too heavy for my son to lift up or carry. It might be kind of a pain if we want to take it anywhere like camping. Ultimately I'm rating 5 stars and do recommend this bike. Way more pros than cons %26 I would buy from this brand again!

Bike was rode June-August and the chain will not stay on this bike… My son thought this was the coolest bike with the light up function though. We're really sad about it not holding up. The fame is also so so heavy for a kid rider.
