Gray, HomeShades Flat Primer Spray Paint-263453, 10 oz: Is a general-purpose paint suitable for a variety of interior and exterior home projects. The fast-drying formula dries to the touch in 20 minutes for quick project completion. The paint applies easily and creates an attractive finish. For optimal protection, apply HomeShades primer first. This product is not for use on galvanized metal.

Instructions
. Directions. 1. Make sure surface is free of dirt, grease, etc. Remove rust with wire brush. 2. Use drop cloth or newspapers to protect surrounding areas from spray mist. 3. Do not spray in humid conditions. For best results, use only when air and surface temperature is between 50°F and 90°F. 4. Shake can vigorously for at least one minute after mixing ball rattles to insure color uniformity and prevent clogging. Repeat during use. Do not strike can. 5. Point opening of spray button toward object, holding can 12 to 16 inches from surface to be painted. 6. Press spray button firmly. Fingertip should not extend over front of spray button. Use steady, even strokes while spraying. 7. Several thin coats give a better finish than one heavy coat. Recoat within 4 hours or after 1 week to avoid lifting. 8. If spray button becomes clogged, wear eye protection, wipe off the button opening with lacquer thinner - do not stick pin in spray button opening. 9. Clean spray button immediately after use by turning can upside down and pressing spray button for 5 seconds or until no more paint comes out. 10. Dispose of in accordance with local, state or federal regulations.

CONTAINS: XYLENE AND ACETONE. DANGER! EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Vapors will accumulate readily and may ignite explosively. Keep area ventilated during use and until vapors are gone. DO NOT SMOKE - Extinguish all flames, pilot lights and heaters - Turn off stoves, electric tools and appliances, and any other sources of ignition. CONTENTS UNDER PRESSURE. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or heat from radiators, stoves, hot water and other heat sources that may cause bursting. Do not puncture, strike, incinerate (burn) or store above 120°F. Keep upright in a cool, dry place. Do not discard empty can in trash compactor. VAPOR HARMFUL. Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid continuous breathing of vapor and spray mist . To avoid breathing vapors or spray mist, open windows and doors or use other means to ensure fresh air entry during application and drying. If you experience eye watering, headaches, or dizziness, increase fresh air or wear respiratory protection (NIOSH approved) or leave the area. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wash hands after using. FIRST AID: In case of eye contact, flush thoroughly with large amounts of water for 15 minutes and get medical attention. For skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water. In case of respiratory difficulty, provide fresh air and call physician. DELAYED EFFECTS FROM LONG TERM OVEREXPOSURE. Contains solvents which can cause permanent brain and nervous system damage. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents may be harmful or fatal. WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. HARMFUL OR FATAL IF SWALLOWED. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.

Good Primer
Been using this primer for years. Covers great and fills in, for the most part, small blemishes and tiny cracks better than any other primer. Very disappointed though it's not available in store any longer. AND, disappointed the price has jumped from .96 to $1.64. That's a huge hike.

Excellent primer for fine work
This primer is not as heavy as some primers and will not hide fine detail when used. I use it for model work and it is excellent and not expensive. It covers well annd is not too thick. In short a good primer.
