One Tough Gate
I had never found a gate that could stop my dog until now. Metal construction, installation in door jam and a positive lock make this gate the solution. Looks nice, easy installation and easy to operate. This has brought me piece of mind when I am out of the house.

Dogs and Roombas Love It!
We've used several types of stationary gates to kennel our dogs but so many have narrow gate openings and frames on the bottom. With our recent investment in a Roomba, that bottom frame prohibited passage to the room and raising the gate would only make people access more difficult. Thus my eventual purchase of this Cardinal gate. I simply mounted it high enough (about 8") for the little robotic maid to clear the bottom of the gate. Solid construction, easy installation and a secure lock has made me (and my Roomba) very happy. :) P.S. Though the gate swings in either direction, it's not a hands-free movement. To change directions you must: (1) position the lock on the same side of the gate, (2) latch the gate, then flip the latch in the opposite direction to allow the gate to swing to the other side. Not a big deal and it quickly became habit but a good thing for buyers to know.
