When the package for this standing desk arrived, it was quite heavy overall—I had to unpack it and bring it inside in two trips. When I saw all the parts, I was a little overwhelmed and thought it would be difficult to assemble. But once I followed the instructions step by step, it turned out to be pretty straightforward and didn't take much time at all. The desktop is made of two panels, which I'm not a huge fan of personally, but fortunately I had bought a large desk mat. Once I laid it over the top, it looked perfect. The lifting mechanism works very smoothly and quietly, which is great, and the size is standard—not too wide or too long. For the price, I'm very pleased with this standing desk overall.

For those with sedentary lifestyles, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DESK! Don't spend all day sitting on your tush when you can stand and still get work done. The assembly was easy. It comes with the tools you need, however; I used my battery powered drill with attachments to secure screws. It took me less than 25~30 minutes to assemble by myself. The motor that raises and lowers the desk is quiet. It has 3 memory settings you can program to your height specifications. The desk dimensions are perfect if you have multiple monitors and other peripherals (e.g., Webcams, printers, etc.). As for the sturdiness, it is sturdy but I would rather see stronger screws used to mount the tabletop. I would not recommend trying to move the desk by lifting from the tabletop entirely because of it's weight (75~80 lbs). Lift by the legs and metal T-brackets. Aside from this, for the price, it is an excellent buy!
