I buy this particular type and brand of rice for one reason. Per recent global studies most rice now has dangerous levels of arsnic and cadmium. My favorite rice for rice pudding or regular rice. It cooks well in my electric automatic rice cooker. It is medium rice not long. 1/4 cup dry rice per person plus salt 1/4 tsp 1/2 tsp olive oil 1/4 cup water or chicken or vegetable broth. 1:1 ratio rice to water or broth . So 1 cup dry rice is for 4 persons then add 1 cup water or broth.
