Beautiful and sturdy chair. Good value for the price. We are using the chair at a computer desk where we did NOT want wheels, and desired something more stylish to match the primary desk chair. We had a little difficulty attaching the seat cushion bolts -- it would help if there was a metal guide around the pre-drilled hole on the cushion to assist with aligning and inserting the bolt.

Quality was suspect secondary to the list price. I was considering purchasing a different chair from a high-end distributor whose product was listed close to $1,000. I associated the price with high quality. Their $200 shipping fee broke the deal and I found this model which shipped for free. I was willing to take a chance on quality given the low price and the fact that I'd purchased from Hayneedle in the past was impressed with that purchase. I'm pleased with this purchase as well. This chair is a tremendous bargain. Picture assembly instructions were easy to follow and the parts screwed together in a tight and reassuring manner. I was looking for something substantial enough to give support to older individuals during sit to stand activities; this chair does that: heavy, sturdy arms for support and no castor wheels which provides safe stability. Another impressive feature is the cushioning: pillowy yet firm and fits my back like a tailored, custom construction. Unbelievable quality, even at twice the price.
