This elevated pet dog bed was such a good investment for our dogs. Well, one dog actually as our lab/mix proudly proclaimed it as HERS after my husband set it up. With two other beds to choose from at any time, she always chooses this new elevated pet bed. It was somewhat easy to assemble. I would not have been able to do it myself, as the fabric really has to be stretched very tightly between the supporting poles, however that did make it more secure and allowed no "slouch" in the fabric under our dog's weight. The bumper pads are not a means of making sure our dog does not roll off (which it would), however they seem to give our dog the security that "something" is there to keep her from falling off. We always find her asleep with her nose tucked firmly against the bumper pad.

Great dog bed

We got this dog bed to replace a old dog bed that broke and was unable to be taken apart for a replacement mesh. This one will be able to use a replacement mesh someday if needed. It fits both our dogs which are 26 pds %26 35 pds. It's off the floor, which keeps them cool. Provides support like a hammock. Has a breathable mesh for cooling. The bolster and the fleece pad for warmth are usually extra but they came with this one which is a good deal. It's reasonably priced, perfect size. It doesn't take up too much space in the living room. It's portable, washable, could be used outside. It folds up, if you need to move it or for travel. It looks stylish, blends in nicely. Our dogs were so excited when my husband was putting it together. It was like Christmas for them. They love it. Thanks for making a great bed.
