When I opened the box I was shocked at both the outside and inside packaging. I could tell the box was treated with value and shipped and delivered with the same. I needed something to store things outside of my tiny downsized apt. (but I have a porch!) and thought of the outdoor pool storage option. I got exactly what I wanted, for a great price. It gives my little porch class (I had a matching chair and small table with a glass top if which the latter was also put into the storage bin). I will say though that the directions were without words (just tiny pictures), and though challenging, I got it all the way to the lid and couldn't figure out how to "snap" the resin hinges until I awoke with the answer the next morning. I figured out you have to do that before you attach the upper lid (back) hinges. I do recommend screwing the ones that attach to the bin itself in before tilting the lid back until the hinges slide right into their places. then you can screw the hydraulic hinges under the lid. This thing has a hydraulic lid and can be locked. In my opinion, this piece of outdoor furniture can actually go anywhere (if you have the space), children's toy bin, storage for winter/summer things, can be placed in the attic, basement, inside, or outside of your living space. It is that sleek and classy looking. It's a good-sized piece of indoor/outdoor furniture.
