Works great
The lamp came fully assembled. It is flat black. It's a solid lamp with a heavy 7" base which is felted on the bottom. The height adjusts from 15" to 19.5". The shade swivels around 360 degrees. The shade will swing up over 180 degrees. There are knobs to tighten when making adjustments. It did not come with instructions therefore I am not sure how bright a bulb it will take. I started out with a 75W bulb. That was extremely bright and made the metal shade quite hot. I ended up using a 25W bulb. The cord is 69" long. It was double boxed for shipping. I would recommend.
