Best Microphone for the price! Nice clear sound.

I got this microphone for recording both vocals and amplified guitar. With a USB pre-amp system, I'm able to record crystal clear vocals. The built-in pop filter works great, and cuts out a lot of unwanted noise. I chose this model after reading reviews on other sites, and they are absolutely right about it being comparable to something far more expensive. Highly recommended whether you are playing live, recording music, or simply looking for a good podcast/announcer mic, this can easily live up to your expectations. It also came in a well-padded, sturdy case, which is good for me, where I will be doing live shows in the not-too-distant future. :)

Amazing Value for $26

Coming off of a Blue Snowball, oh boy, this is an upgrade. That's saying something considering it cost me less than half the price of a Blue Snowball. The mic is a dynamic microphone with an XLR input. Dynamic mics are great at cutting background/ambient noise and have a pattern that focuses on picking up what's directly in front of them. The sound quality is easily comparable with an SM58 and has compared to popular (overpriced/overhyped) mics like the SM7B holding its own. Especially with a little EQ, this mic can sound fantastic given its low price point. As mentioned, this uses an XLR input and you will need an audio interface or equivalent. I am using this hooked up to a Behringer UMC202HD and I have the gain almost maxed out. It may vary from mic to mic or interface to interface but what I've found is the mic itself does need quite a bit of gain. (It does not need phantom power, please do not enable it when using, you will damage your mic) All in all, this is a fantastic mic at a steal of a price.

I use this with an electric-acoustic guitar and a Behringer amp. Works great. This is basically just a toy for me to use in my living room, but I have no doubt this mic will perform well for more serious users. Quality product.
