Works well

I reviewed a lot of scanners and this one had the best reviews for the money. Easy to operate. Menus were intuitive. It reported no codes even though I am having fuel mileage issues. I've narrowed it down to failing O2 sensors but since they are functional, no codes were generated. I am still glad I purchased this unit. Now I can diagnose my own car (2001 Nissan Altima)

Life saver!

Life save and money saver!! My truck failed due to monitor readiness and I hated running to advanced auto to get it checked out.Then the light came on then I had to start over from the start again on waiting for monitor readiness when I cleared the code.so i bought this code reader and it showed me the trucks monitor readiness so I rushed it to get inspected and its pass!Then 2 days later the light came on but no worries there I now have a full year to the Cats replaced.its very small and will fit in your pockets.

Simple to use

Just plug it in to the link in your car and it will give you the codes. In my case, I had P0305 and P0456. Just look up the codes online and there will be a wealth of information. The P0305 was a misfire and I had to replaced spark plugs (it was due) and 2 coils on my 6 cylinder Chrysler Pacifica. The P0456 was a very small leak in the emissions system and I replaced the gas cap because maybe the seal was cracked- we will see. The check engine light has not come back on since making those repairs.
