According to the "Square Foot Gardening" method you only need 6 inches of good soil to grow vegetables, making this planter perfect. Also it's so much easier than gardening on the ground. This planter snaps together easily without any tools needed. My one complaint has to do with the delivery, during which the box was apparently dropped, as the corner of the planted was broken off. I returned it to the nearby WalMart and ordered another one, to be picked up at the store this time!

I have absolutely no complaints so far!!! Great purchase for the prize!! Everything is blooming in there! May be I have to check the drainage occasionally. Would highly recommend. Just had 3 days of really bad winds and storms, they stood up no problems, will get 2 more! Highly recommend!!

Love it!

Love the planter, I did have to make a few more small holes on the bottom for water to drain as it only has one large hole in the middle, but other than that I was excited to receive it. It did not come with instructions on how to put it together but it snapped into place with only 6 pieces fast and easy. The bottom shelf is a lot stronger than I expected and I was able to put another rectangular planter below and still store stuff below on the very bottom so it more than doubles my space and looks quite nice doing so! I may just have to get another one ;0)
