We have 2 other black %26 white monitors . The sensor units went out on them so we bought the color monitor and we now have three monitors in different places . The sensor units last maybe 5 years . Being able to check actual outdoor temp before I go outside to travel to work is a big help . We are well pleased with this item .

Good Weather Station for the Money

I have had this for several months now and have not had any issues with it. The sensor is about a hundred feet away in line-of-sight through a window. It has not lost the signal. I like the easy to read and colorful display. The self-adjusting clock for daylight savings time is a plus.

Am I blind?

I like that it doesnt have to run on wifi. The strange thing was where to plug the cord into the unit. I had to email AcuRite. Totally could not see where the power adapter was supposed to go into. They answered the next day.
