We have owned tab least We have owned at least 4 weather stations between our two homes in Cleveland , OH and Naples, FL and have loved and relied on their performance. But between snow, rain and wind in Cleveland and rain, wind and salt water in FL the readers and their coils eventually give out. Of course, we've never called Customer service, because we felt we got our money's worth and just ordered a new one at a very reasonable price! We can't think of ordering another brand! At a glance, many, many times a day, my awareness of my body in my environment, indoors and out, is verified by my Acurite Weather Station. The clock keeps me on schedule for all tasks given me to do. The barometer reading and humidity confirm what my body is telling me and I can forecast whether I need to take additional supplements to support my joints and muscles, or whether I am going to fly freely through the day. This is my second round with this particular model which I love because at a glance I know where I am at. My first lasted for years but I did not back up the system with batteries and a recent power surge --which also fried my cell phone, caused my previous station to malfunction. Waiting for the new one to arrive was torture: I constantly had to check the internet for the time, barometric pressure, and humidity...it wasn't as accurate because weather reports cover broad areas, often generalizing and not always specific to your local experience. For those who weather matters, Acurite has many options to consider: this one works for me!!
