Awesome

Truly amazing advancement with modern portable water filters over the past decade. The Befree is my go-to water filter for all North American backpacking trips from Thru hikes to weekend trips. This filter replaced the sawyer squeeze for me, can't go back after experience the flow rate of the Befree and ease of cleaning.

The only one you'll ever need!

The Katadyn filter is truly the most lightweight and efficient filter out there. When backpacking, I use it attached to a larger lightweight bladder but it will fit on bottles too for shorter hikes. It has a drinking spout so it's truly all in one filtration. It's easy to use, even for a beginner. It can be flushed easily to clean. It's my go to filter! Get it while you can as the new version doesn't fit the same and they're discontinuing this version.

BeFree filter is awesome

Used this on a recent 7 day trip through the back country of Banff NP. It not only served as a grab and go water bottle for while hiking but was my primary filter for filling my cooking bladder and other bottles. It filters very quickly which saves a lot of time when you get to camp late and are in a rush to make food. Only down side was the flip top cap is fairly flimsy and broke off eventually. conveniently though it's the same as a smart water bottle cap so i just swapped it out.
