I use this product very differently than what I think it was intended for but it works beautifully for my need. I have a condition that causes permanent hair loss on the top of my head; there is still some hair, but not enough hair is there to use to firmly secure the clips of my hair topper. There are four clips on the topper; I secure one gripper with the left clip and the second gripper with the right clip ahead of time before putting on the topper. After putting on the topper, I then use the front and rear topper clips with my own hair to further secure it. Then I pat the topper down to make the grippers grab on to whatever hair they can find since they are the perfect size to almost completely cover the entire base of the topper. I feel so much more confident that my dead squirrel on top of my hair will not blow away when I have to endure the wind running errands, getting gas, getting mail etc. At night, I undo the front and rear clips and gently pull the topper off. The grippers held the topper firmly but they also released very easily with no harm to the remaining hair. Like I mentioned, this is an unusual use, but they may be a great solution for other hair topper users and BELIEVE ME, they are BOAT LOADS cheaper that anything remotely close being sold by the wig companies that also charge $16 or $18 for shipping--literally--"because that's our policy regardless of your only wanting to buy an inexpensive item. I was THRILLED to find this company and hope that others will too.
