Decent cabinet, use your own wood screws!

This is a Sauder brand pantry cabinet, model 424001. Why they're saying Pemberly Row we may never know. Do yourself a favor and buy your own wood screws to attach the hinges and strike plates. The ones included are dirt cheap and a few of mine either stripped or broke clean off when nearly snug. If the strike plate screws don't go all the way in (which mine didn't), the magnets on second shelf will not firmly secure the doors because they may contact the screw heads before making it to the strike plate. Also, there are supposed to be tapped guide holes for the under-shelf braces - one front and one back. My unit only had front tapped holes, which left it up to me to measure and mark my own drill point on the rear of the shelves. I fixed the strike plate problem by tossing out the included screws and using my own. The middle hinge on the right door is only secured with one screw as the other broke off in the hole. Might be able to fix that, or might just accept it and move on. Overall, passable and decent appearance but disappointing.
