GLOVEWORKS Medium Duty Black Nitrile Gloves for Auto, Mechanics, L, 1000 Count

These gloves are THE BEST! I bought them just to keep me as safe as possible during this pandemic. My daughter tried one on and was ecstatic. Her hands take quite a toll working at a dry cleaners. She covered her hands with neosporin and slept with the gloves on. With the help of the neosporin and keeping the gloves on while sleeping. The neosporin did not absorb into the gloves and her hands were relieved the next morning. She is now working with the gloves on her hands. As I said these gloves ARE THE BEST!!

This is my first time trying these black nitrile gloves from Gloveworks. These are listed as latex free, textured, powder-free, and non-sterile. They are described as not for medical use. The box did not list the mil thickness of the gloves; it just describes them as industrial. There is a list of fourteen items to which the gloves are chemically resistant to listed on the box. Some key items are solvents, lacquers, gasoline, grease, silicates, paint thinners, hydraulic oil, transmission fluid, hydraulic oil and others, but this gives you an idea of what they are good for. I normally use blue nitrile gloves that I purchase at the local Harbor Fright, so I compared them to the blue nitrile gloves, which were listed as 5 mil thickness, and it appears that the black nitriles are thicker. While the gloves were on my hand I tried to tear one of the black nitrile gloves unsuccessfully while grabbing at the wrist. On the other hand, I could not tear the blue nitriles either. I then grabbed the palm of the blue nitrile glove, and I was able to somewhat easily tear out the palm. I was unable to do this with the black nitrile gloves. They definitely seem much stronger. Now the blue nitrile glove box states that the gloves are medium duty. The Gloveworks box does not say. That said, I would certainly recommend these gloves over the 5 mil blue nitriles.
