Perfect for Home Office

I am using the lateral file and a simple desk to define a home office space in one corner of our great room. The length and width of the file is similar in size to the desk. I've placed them opposite each other with a swivel desk chair between them so that I can access either one from the chair. I've arranged each drawer in the "3 rows of letter size files" configuration. There provides plenty of space for my files and also room to store printer paper and other supplies. The "putty" color of the file cabinet works well with the white washed wood of the desk.

Lateral File

Great file cabinet. Using to add file drawer space to 2 arm extension areas on a desk that has no cabinets in a large office area. Sturdier than any file built into a desk arrangement as most afordable desks are not made of solid wood construction. Looks great and complements the coloration of the desk. Quality Feel. Streamlined in appearance. This gives the best of both worlds. Won't have to worry about the weight of the files breaking down the file drawer. Highly recommend this Staples product!

Works well good construction

I purchased this for use in my home office. It was considerably less expensive than a HON but it is well made and works smoothly. It will certainly hold up to moderate use and has tremendous capacity. It is space efficient and does double duty as a workstand/copier table. I would certainly recommend this for anyone not requiring a really heavy duty/high usage cabinet.
