This bread knife is no joke. It sliced through my first homemade loaf like a dream… and it then immediately reminded me who's in charge by taking a chunk out of my finger. I already own several Cuisinart knives. I was going to make spaghetti and italian bread the next day and needed a good knife to cut the bread. So I added this one to the collection. It slices through the bread with ease. The blade is nice and sharp with a thickness that gives it good rigidity. The handle fits nicely in the hand and makes controlling the cut easy. Cleanup is quick and easy then slip on the included blade guard for both safety and to keep the edge sharp longer. I recommend this knife to anyone.
