This is complete kit which includes everything you will need to cut circles with a router, up to 52" in diameter. Router ensures smoother cut than most jig saw blades and with a use of this kit your circle will be perfect even on your first try. I really like that Milescraft included in this kit even a drill bit to pre-drill a hole for a pivoting screw and that screw itself. As usually with Milescraft products this kit also contains a decent quality router bit (1/4" shank), which is very nice bonus, especially considering affordable price of the kit. It is very easy to use, however it will take some reading when you are new to this jig. Instruction manual seem to be a bit lengthy but I tried to be patient and read it all so I can summarize it now for you. The first thing to do is to mount Centering Pin (part 12) in your router. This is to center properly router on the base plate. Second step is to remove the acrylic plate from your router. Insert TurnLock Bushing (11) into the Base Plate (8) and screw with minimum 2 screws your router base to the Base Plate (8). Now replace Centering Pin in your router colet with a Router Bit (10). Remove the TurnLock Bushing (11) from the Base Plate. Mark the center of your circle on your stock with big X (lines should be about 2" long). Screw the Center Pivot (6) to the stock with Pivot Screw (7). It has little marks on it which makes it easy to align it with the X mark you made. Put together Circle Guide Head (1), TurnLock Base Plate (8) and Aluminium Beam (3). Connect Large Circle Slide (5) with a Aluminium Beam (3) according to the manual. Place the Large Circle Slide (5) onto Center Pivot (6). Now you can set the desired diameter of your circle using a metric or imperial ruler on the Aluminium Beam (3). This part is tricky though. Large Circle Slide (5) can be mount in two ways onto the Aliminium Beam (3). One position is for diameters of 10 to 42" and the other for larger circles, up to 52". Rulers are useful only for the circles up to 42". If you want to cut bigger circles rulers became irrelevant and you have to use your tape measure to set the distance between inner side of a router bit and Pivot Screw (7). Since plywood sheets are 4 feet wide and many people might want to cut that big circles it would be nice if the Aluminium Beam is a bit longer so there would be no need to change the orientation of the Large Circle Slide and the ruler would remain relevant for circles up to 48" in diameter. At least you can still cut such big circles. All parts are made from good quality plastic or metal and look like will last. It comes well packed in a box covered with photos to give you better idea what is inside. Manual is written in English, Spanish. French and German. I had no problem cutting 4 feet diameter circles from 3/4" thick plywood. To make it easier on my router and router bit I did it in 3 passes though, in each pass cutting just 1/4" deep groove. I would recommend this product to advanced woodworkers and beginners, as long as you have a bit of experience with a router.

We were blown away with how perfectly this cuts, and how sturdy it is. We looked forever to find a tool that helps you cut perfect circles, but everything is extremely small or VERY expensive. This was affordable and worked very, very well. Couldn't recommend more!
