Keurig K-Express Essentials Single Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker, Tropical Blue

This is a newer version of one we bought a few years back. We liked it very much so we bought another one. For the convenience I highly recommend it, but it does take some maintenance to keep it in ship shape. Make sure you keep up replacing the filters as needed, it really makes a difference. Even if you do take good care of it they usually will most likely last you a few years I think we had the previous one about 4 years. They don't last forever. Good size water reservoir though. Doesn't take up much counter space either. Both pluses. And of course it makes good coffee.

We had the bulkier, larger classic model ---for maybe 10 years. It was used a lot. Lot's and lot's of use. Well, it started biting the dust; more watery coffee, not making the full cup size of coffee selected, and the kind of loud noise it makes at the end of making the cup of coffee. We saw this less bulkier model with a slightly smaller water tank. It was on sale for about 60 percent cheaper than the same classic replacement model, under fifty dollars, so, we took a chance. This model from Walmart also had multiple colors to choose from, in addition to black. We chose red. Got it set up, used it, and OH MY GOODNESS!!! Coffee tastes like coffee, again, and it fills up the cup to the full amount selected. No more watery coffee --blah! It's such a nice design. This unit takes up much less space, too. This newer compact unit makes between about 5 to 8 cups of coffee, depending on the size selected, before the water tank needs refilling. We keep this in the kitchen, so it's no big deal to move 2 feet to the sink to refill the tank when needed. It is much quieter, too! It makes delicious coffee with hardly any noise at all. The previous, larger one we used was noisy making coffee at the end of the process. Not this one. No coffee grounds floating around. Nice water container. Fits easy on the counter. You can remove that bottom thing you put your coffee cup on to put a larger, taller mug, cup, water bottle, Ninja blender tall cup for frozen coffees, etc...This model allows you 3 cup sizes of coffee to select from. Amazon currently has this unit for sale at almost 40 dollars higher than Walmart's current low sale price. We would have easily returned this item had it not worked out, but it exceeded our expectations. We wished we had purchased this newer, compact model sooner...better late than never!
