Corona Quality w/Lower End Comfort

I was told that this is a more cost-effective pruduct as compared to their standard pruners, and this is true. They are very sharp and well aligned. They cut very well. They are clearly good quality in terms of construction, but the handle is not as comfortable as my Felcos were or as compared to the other style of Corona pruners. The difference is that the others have this little rubber stop, so when you clip down all the way, it's almost like a little shock absorber. That probably sounds dumb, but when you go out and prune nonstop for 1-3 hours at a time, that little stopper makes a difference. The other issue is the lock. The other style is easy to just close and flup the lock with your thumb, but these require both hands to lock, for mw anyway. I find that I just leave them in the open position if I toggle between pruning and say, digging a weed for a second. I'm certain that this is going to lead to an injury at some point, but the lock mechanism just isn't convenient. Oh. One more thing - These are just too big for my little female hands. I hold the pruners near the blade so my hand fits better. This also seems to decrease the unpleasant feeling of clipping all the way down, possibly because I have better control when I hold down there, but the handle is just not comfortable. Also no grooves for your fingers so no ergonomics were considered.
