Corona knows what they are doing in a solid workhorse pruner. These are solidly made, no-nonsense, and if you don't lose them, will perform for years.
I purchased a replacement pair as my previous set are missing after five years and nothing else cuts like a set of corona's. Weed clearing, tree pruning, these do the job. And the latchy thing isn't forever falling into place preventing you from making a cut by obstructing the set from closing or from accidentally latching them shut. The handle grippies don't come off all the time either.
These are a very worthwhile investment. I tend to have to hack junk volunteer elm trees so the one inch are important. I do have a few hand issues but have plenty strength to go around with these, because they do deliver 'cut'. No side play either when you bite into the branch. Cheaper types often twist that way and otherwise go to junk immediately. These stay on the mark.
Use a set of Corona's once and you'll wonder why you ever bought the cheapy junky ones.
