Biofreeze is absolutely wonderful for sore muscles and joints. It does have a strong menthol smell, but it goes away after about 20 minutes. When you apply Biofreeze, it has a cooling feature, which helps to actually relax your muscles and it lasts for hours. I have always used Biofreeze every time I have physical therapy or have sore muscles. I just recently had a complete shoulder replacement and have been living on Biofreeze for the last month and it helps me to sleep and get through the night. I recommend Biofreeze to anyone and if you ever go and have physical therapy for any reason, always have them used Biofreeze. Biofreeze has no side effects except that it will clear your sinuses lol.
