My daughter saw this on tv and was so excited about it. She has other devices so I was hesitant plus she is 8 so I was afraid it wouldn't be age appropriate. However this tablet is exactly what she needed. It's bright, colourful, fun and easy to use. Lots of great games and apps already on it. The games that came with it have been entertaining her for a month now. Very pleased with this product.

Lives up to its name!

Honestly- I know I say this every time but it's true! The LeapFrog Epic is my new favorite LeapFrog tablet to date. I think it says a lot about a company that takes feedback from its customers and then comes out with a product that addresses the feedback and is a new and improved model. They are constantly adapting to our kids' needs and desires! The Epic is easy to hold because of the case and the screen is great resolution. The games are educationally focused but really fun, which is KEY to get my 4 year old to absorb his letters and numbers. Even though we have loved the tablets that LeapFrog has sent in the past, for some reason, this one is the favorite in our house. I'm not sure if the games or dashboard are more interesting, but both my 2 and 4 year old prefer the Epic. They love the videos they can find on the web browsing and the customizable dashboard. The best part to me is how “grown up” my 4 year old feels when he uses it. He would hop out of bed and run to his LeapPad Epic and say “I have to check to see how far away Halloween is!” and then he would check the clock and calendar. Once again, I can say enough about the Epic- it's a hit in our household and it has been our lifesaver during quiet times, car rides, and waiting rooms!
