Very sturdy, easy to use, good price

I was very surprised as to how sturdy and well put together this product was the handles are made out of strong metal and it's nice that the connections screw together. I personally did not want the handles as long as a regular length broom so I left out one section on the broom and the dustpan. And it's easier for myself to manage. The bristles are very soft and don't work real well with cat litter but it does pick up larger things and the teeth make it easy to pull cat hair out of the broom. It's nice and sturdy and it stands up without falling over. I've had some that become a nuisance because it would keep falling over so I was bending over like I would if I was using the regular dustpan. I was fortunate enough to get this for less then the regular price but it still worth the money and I don't believe that it will have to be replaced very often. I would definitely recommend it. I repeatedly tried to upload a picture so you can see it with the short handles but it won't allow me to, even so it can be shortened.

best broom/dustpan for pet hair!

best feature is the teeth on the dustpan that are close together to get all the hair off the broom! the broom itself is fantastic with the option to lengthen the handle which makes it so easy to use one handed AND the bristles on the broom dont fray like the other brooms ive used ( including the one i just bought) i bought a set instore that was terrible and found this one online and for a few extra dollars than the previous one, it is 1000 x better! including photos of both to show the difference. Notice the new gray broom already fraying after just a few uses. the softer black bristles on this broom have not frayed with the same amout of use and is much better at sweeping up my GSD hair, the dust pans teeth have no big gap like the other one and capture all the hair with one swipe! the short handle on the other is hard to use due to arthritis but the long handle on this broom allows me to brace it on my upper arm/ shoulder and takes the pressure off my wrist/ hand. you can adjust the lenght of the handle on the broom or dustpan to suit your needs
