Realy lasts

Coated my utility trailer floor with it 2 years ago. It's still repeling water.

Performs as described

Applied the walnut semi transparent timer oil to white wood picket fence almost 3 years ago. It performs exactly as described as long as you follow the directions. No issues at all. I've had to replace a few pickets recently and had no issues making the color match (for the most part). I put on more than 1 coat to get a darker color making it easier to match in the future. Yes, it will come out orange if you do not mix it efficiently. I shake the can for at least 1 minute before pouring, if it sits untouched for more than 30 minutes. Great product and love the "forgiveness" when applying. It doesn't have to be applied "perfectly", but you do need to mix it well before applying. I used mini nap rollers and throw away bristle brushes for application.

Looks great. Advice included

I love the way that my bar turned out with this stain. I originally thought I had a problem similar to what others have stated about the color being orange, but found a solution to the problem. What I realize was even after I ship a can for what I thought it was a long enough. To get a good mix, I still had results that looked more orange than brown. I decided to take a razor knife to the can and cut it in half. What I found was a lot of sediment on the bottom. What I did was used a paint stirrer to get all of the sediment into a bucket with the orange stain, and then mixed it up really good with a paint stirrer that attaches to my drill. After I did that, the results were perfect.
