Sturdy, beautiful
These things are heavy and solid. I think they will last decades. We have owned a real flimsy stool in the past, that got loose joints after only a couple years. We have owned some that were sturdy, but not as sturdy as these. These were more expensive than both of the previous stools we have owned, but it seems like they are proportionally better. The seat is extra deep, which I think is more comfortable to sit on. The foot beam is low, which makes it nice for an adult. They are super deep brown. They have a little texture on the seat which adds some character - lines carved in.
