Inconsistant thickness

This yarn is so inconsistant in thickness, I had to cut out large lengths and rejoin the yarn, many times. Very frustrating! I wanted to love this yarn so I bought several skeins of different colors because I didn’t want to miss out on a bargain! This yarn is no bargain! I donated it to Goodwill. Pretty color for a mermaid tail, but I couldn’t give it to the little girl. I couldn’t overlook the inconsistancy. It looked very weak in spots and too much fiber in other places. So disappointed! I hope the machine that wound the skeins have been replaced with better spinning capabilities!

Yarn is Medium 4, great buy.

The pictures make this yarn look bulky, so I ordered to compliment a Super Bulky 6 Velvet Yarn in Neutral Multi and was disappointed. This yarn isn't bulky and the Charcoal color is a bit more brown than gray. Wish they had said that in the description. All in all I am satisfied with the price of getting 8 skeins.
